Dr. Tawfik Hamid is Chair for the Study of Islamic Radicalism at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, and is an Egyptian-born scholar and analyst. In an interview with Voice of America, he warned that the new Morsi government in Egypt could find itself embroiled in controversy as it takes on the country's military establishment.  In the interview, he tells VOA that  "the situation is very volatile now." Senior Vice President of Academic Programs and Research Jamie Barnett, Jr., RDML USNR (Ret.), serves on the executive advisory council for Mission: Readiness, a group of retired military officers dedicated to combating obesity and health problems in the young.  RDML Barnett is a leading advocate for youth fitness as a national security issue, raising awareness of the fact that increasing numbers of America's young people have become ineligible for military service because they are "too fat to fight."
