The Honorable Charles Herzfeld, PhD, is a Senior Fellow and Member of the Board of Regents of the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies.  He has often been called the "godfather" of the internet, for his role in the development of the Defense Department's original ARPAnet computer network, four decades ago. In a program produced by the Arlington County TV online and cable channels, "ARPAnet: The Team Behind the Internet," Dr. Herzfeld and other members of the original development team talk about the excitement of building the foundations for the modern internet. Click here to watch the episode on Arlington TV's website.
