Dr. Tawfik Hamid, Chair for the Study of Islamic Radicalism at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, is an Egyptian-American scholar and author of the book Inside Jihad.  In an interview with Radio Free Europe, he commented on the ascent of Ayman al-Zawahiri to the top leadership position in Al Qaeda, and warned that al-Zawahiri may be more dangerous than his predecessor, Usama bin Laden.
