A National Strategy for a Secure Microelectronics
Supply Chain

Microelectronics are key components in our defense systems, and assuring that they are both trusted and secure is critical for US national security. In today’s global electronics supply chain, hardware and software vulnerabilities are increasingly prevalent, and a whole-of-government solution is needed to ensure a long-term domestic capability. A solution must exist at every stage of the supply chain to include research and design; production; supply, stock, and store; and deployment.
